What look were you hoping to achieve and why?

I wanted Maree to make me a retro edgy rock goddess. I struggle to do great eye wings as my eyelids are quite hooded, so I want to see how she does an exaggerated wing look with a warm earthy eye shadow to open up my eyes. Along with the wings I wanted to have slightly sun kissed and natural-ish looking skin and nude lip to really highlight the eyes. I almost have no eyebrows so I wanted some soft full eyebrows to complete the look.

What did you think of your final look and how did it make you feel?

I finally had eyebrows! Although I don’t wear makeup normally, I felt glam, I wanted to go show it off.

What was your favourite outcome (eg. glowy skin) and what products were your favourite and why?

I liked my skin tone she achieved by using the Eye of Horus tinted serum, I looked so sun kissed, and it made my hair look blonder. I also loved the eye shadow and blending she did using the Eye of Horus dawn eyeshadow compact. Im defo getting the lipstick she used on me, scout Chi.

What did you eat at Raes and how was your experience going out in full makeup?

At Rae’s I mainly ate Champagne…….it was fantastic. I felt good all done up enjoying the finer things, it suited me.

I was wanting to achieve a youthful, glowing look. I asked the makeup artist for a full contour so I could try a range of products and also learn a bit more about the contouring process.

What did you think of your final look and how did it make you feel?

I loved my final look! I felt very glamourous. It made me feel like a bit of star and I must admit, I sashayed into the restaurant like I was a celebrity.

What was your favourite outcome and what products were your favourite and why?

I particularly loved the overall bronzed effect as well as my super rosy cheeks. I particularly liked the Zuii Bronzer and Flavedo & Albedo Rose Dew Tint. The bronzer has a beautiful depth to it that really contours the face and the Rose Dew Tint is a burst of colour on the cheeks.

What did you eat at Raes and how was your experience going out in full makeup?

I went for the vegetarian menu and had a delicious tomato based ravioli for a starter, then roasted leek and mixed vegetables for dinner - way more amazing tasting than my description! For dessert I had a giant Ferrero Rocher style dessert. OMG. Yum.

What look were you hoping to achieve and why?

I really wanted to feel glowy and fresh, whilst also hiding my little spots of dermatitis. I also really wanted to feel a little bronzed as I haven’t been sunning in a while, so it was nice to have a little bit of sunshine to my face.

What did you think of your final look and how did it make you feel?

I felt so good! I really feel that the MUA worked the product to my face and highlighted my features. It was great to go out to dinner feeling all glowed up!

What was your favourite outcome and what products were your favourite and why?

I feel as though the subtle contour / metallic eyes and cheeks were my favourite touches.

What did you eat at Raes and how was your experience going out in full makeup?

I felt super fancy which was FITTING given where we were eating. Super loved it! I had lots of fish dishes and polished off the meal with a stunning Affogato. 10/10 would recommend!

What look were you hoping to achieve and why?

I really love a subtle, romantic blushed make up look. I think I am drawn to this because I feel this helps to warm up my pale complexion and is really pretty.

What did you think of your final look and how did it make you feel?

The make up look was really lovely and made me feel very beautiful. I don’t often get dressed up and made up to go out so this was a really special night!

What was your favourite outcome and what products were your favourite and why?

Maree used the Orchard St Gua Sha with Grown Alchemists smoothing serum, and this was such a relaxing start to the evening and created a smooth base for building the make up look. The Vanilla highlighter from Ere Perez added a shine that made the look feel a little extra special, and RCMA 5 part series cream blush pallet really added that pink blushed tone that I love.

What did you eat at Raes and how was your experience going out in full makeup?

The food was incredible! I literally loved every part of my meal but the highlight was undoubtedly the dessert - hazelnut being a favourite for me this desert was in essence a big Ferrero Rocher! I also loved my Australiano cocktail, a Rosé and grapefruit delight.
