FAQ'S
Cruelty-free products are those that are not tested on animals at any stage of their development. This includes both the ingredients used and the final product itself.
Opting for cruelty-free products helps protect animals from unnecessary harm and suffering. By supporting brands that do not conduct animal testing, you promote ethical practices and encourage the development of alternative testing methods.
While we do our best to offer vegan and cruelty free products, not all of our products are certified vegan and organic.
For example, in some instances, honey is used as an ingredient. Some products have a mixture of organic and non-organic ingredients.
The best way to find your favourite preference is to use the 'sort by' option on each collection page. If you select 'vegan' it will show all products that are vegan. Likewise for organic and other options available within the 'sort by' menu.

Physical wellbeing is not just the absence of illness; it's a holistic state of physical health that allows an individual to adequately meet the demands and potential challenges of daily life. At the heart of this lies a blend of lifestyle choices, from the food we eat to the hours we sleep, all playing crucial roles in determining our overall health. But what happens when this balance is thrown off-kilter? Let’s delve into the world of physical wellbeing, its importance, and the ways we can nurture it.
Understanding Physical Wellbeing
At its core, physical wellbeing refers to the state where our bodily systems function optimally. This encompasses various factors, including cardiovascular health, muscle strength, flexibility, and even mental resilience. Physical wellbeing ensures we have the stamina, strength, and health to pursue our passions, connect with loved ones, and lead fulfilling lives.
However, when we neglect our physical wellbeing, the body's equilibrium can be disrupted, making us more susceptible to dis-ease, reduced energy, and decreased mental clarity. A compromised physical state doesn't just affect our health; it impacts our mood, our interactions, and our overall quality of life.
The Four Pillars of Physical Wellbeing
Nutrition: Fuelling the Body Right
Eating a balanced diet ensures our body receives the necessary nutrients it needs to function optimally. Incorporating a variety of fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats can significantly impact our physical health.
Stay Hydrated: Water plays a critical role in almost every bodily function, from digestion to temperature regulation.
Limit Processed Foods: They often contain additives, high levels of salt, sugar, and unhealthy fats.
Mindful Eating: Paying attention to what you eat, savouring each bite, and being aware of how food affects your body can change your relationship with food.
Sleep: The Restorative Powerhouse
Quality sleep is the cornerstone of physical wellbeing. It's when our body repairs, regenerates, and restores.
Regular Sleep Schedule: Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep. Going to bed and waking up at the same time helps regulate the body's internal clock.
Create a Sleep-Inducing Environment: This includes a dark, quiet, and cool room.
Limit Screen Time Before Bed: The blue light from screens can interfere with the production of melatonin, a hormone responsible for sleep.
Mindfulness: The Mental Aspect of Physical Wellbeing
While often associated with mental health, mindfulness has tangible benefits for physical wellbeing too.
Stress Reduction: Chronic stress can lead to numerous physical health issues, including heart disease and weakened immunity. Practices like meditation and deep breathing can significantly reduce stress.
Improved Sleep: Mindfulness practices can lead to better sleep quality, enhancing physical recovery and restoration.
Exercise: The Active Path to Wellbeing
Regular physical activity strengthens the heart, improves circulation, and boosts overall health.
Cardiovascular Exercise: Activities like walking, jogging, or cycling can improve heart and lung health.
Strength Training: Building muscle mass can boost metabolism, improve balance, and enhance overall strength.
Flexibility and Balance: Incorporate stretches or practices like yoga to improve flexibility, posture, and joint health.
Finding Balance: It's a Journey, not a Destination
Understanding that physical wellbeing is a continual journey rather than a fixed destination can be liberating. It's about making consistent, positive choices that become habits over time.
Moreover, it's essential to remember that everyone's journey is unique. What works for one person might not work for another. The key is to listen to your body, understand its needs, and adjust accordingly.
Physical wellbeing is the bedrock upon which we build our lives. When our physical health thrives, every facet of our existence — from our relationships to our careers — benefits. By investing in our nutrition, ensuring quality sleep, adopting mindfulness practices, and incorporating regular exercise, we can pave the way for a balanced, healthy, and fulfilling life. After all, as the adage goes, "Our body is a temple," and it's our sacred duty to care for it.
